Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research and TRANSFORM HF Present: Summer Student and Trainee Showcase Event

We had a wonderful time celebrating the work of the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research (TRCHR) and TRANSFORM HF summer students and trainees on August 18, 2022.
Opening remarks from UHN’s Dr. Mike McDonald and our Anne Simard kicked off the day, followed by presentations by TRANSFORM HF 2021 Trainee Award recipients Darshan Brahmbhatt and Anthony Yong.
Our inaugural Undergraduate Summer Research Program students, Helen Zhou and Ziyi Huang, participated in a poster presentation to show off the work they completed over the summer. You can read more about their research on our Funded Research page.
TRCHR Summer Scholarship recipients Matheus Saraiva de Morais, Batool Barody, Faran Chaudhry, Anjali Chauhan, David Leong, and Charul Narain also presented on the projects they worked on over the summer.
Many thanks and congratulations to the TRCHR and TRANSFORM HF Trainees and Summer Students for the contributions they made this summer towards advancing cardiovascular care! And thank you to all who joined us today in celebrating these bright minds and future leaders.
