Improving health outcomes for Indigenous communities requires approaches that are culturally safe, community-led, and responsive to local priorities. This research area focuses on co-developing digital health solutions in partnership with Indigenous communities, ensuring that technologies respect Indigenous knowledge systems and support self-determined health innovation.

2025 On-the-Land Indigenous Education Program Registration
IMPORTANT NOTES: Applications close Sunday, August 17, 2025. On the Land is open to all TRANSFORM HF members. However, space is limited and efforts will be made to ensure an inter-disciplinary group of participants. You will be notified by email if your application is accepted. On the Land will be taking place in Minden, Ontario this year. This is is a 2.5-3 hour drive north of Toronto. As participants are expected to stay overnight, carpooling/travel arrangements will only be available the morning of Thursday, Sept 11 and afternoon of Saturday, Sept 13th. Please note that participants will be staying overnight in shared accomodations with members of the same gender. At times, participants may be invited to walk on uneven, unpaved ground. Wifi and cell service may not be available or reliable at certain locations throughout the property.
